S.O. 2006, c. 29, as amended (the “Act”), in particular sections 18(1), 19(1), and 21(1) and 21(4).
AND IN THE MATTER OF Millicent Prince (“Prince”).
ORDER REVOKING LICENCE
Prince is licensed as a mortgage agent (licence #M14001880) under the Act.
On July 31, 2020, by delegated authority from the Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (the “Chief Executive Officer”), the Head of Financial Institutions and Mortgage Brokerage Conduct, issued a Notice of Proposal to revoke the mortgage agent licence (licence # M14001880) issued to Prince.
A Request for Hearing dated September 3, 2020, was delivered to the Financial Services Tribunal (the “Tribunal”) in accordance with section 21(2) and (3) of the Act respecting the Notice of Proposal.
The Tribunal held a hearing on November 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, and 24, 2021.
The Tribunal, in its Reasons for Decision dated March 8, 2022 (the “Decision”), directed the Chief Executive Officer to proceed with the revocation of Prince’s licence as a mortgage agent.
ORDER
The mortgage agent licence (licence # M14001880) issued to Millicent Prince is hereby revoked, for the reasons set out in the Decision.
