IN THE MATTER OF the Insurance Act, RSO 1990, c. I.8, as amended (the “Act”), in particular sections 392.5 and 407.1;

AND IN THE MATTER OF Reditha Abila Castillejos (the “Castillejos”).

ORDER TO SUSPEND LICENCE

Castillejos is licensed as a life insurance and accident & sickness insurance agent (licence # 02072076) under the Act since June 26, 2002. Castillejos’ licence is scheduled to expire on October 23, 2026.

On March 27, 2026, by delegated authority from the Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (the “Chief Executive Officer”), the Director, Litigation and Enforcement (the “Director”) issued a Notice of Proposal to suspend the life insurance and accident & sickness insurance agent licence issued to Castillejos and an interim order suspending the licence.

The Notice of Proposal was served on Castillejos on April 2, 2026. Section 407.1(3) of the Act provides that any person on whom a Notice of Proposal is delivered has fifteen (15) days after the Notice of Proposal is received to request a hearing by the Financial Services Tribunal (the “Tribunal”).

On April 20, 2026, the Registrar of the Tribunal confirmed that Castillejos did not request a hearing by the Tribunal in accordance with section 407.1(3) of the Act respecting the Notice of Proposal. Therefore, pursuant to section 407.1(7) of the Act, the Director makes the following order.

ORDER

The life insurance and accident & sickness insurance agent licence (licence # 02072076) issued to Reditha Abila Castillejos is hereby suspended, until she complies with a Notice of Examination issued under section 443 of the Act and responds completely to the inquiries of the Chief Executive Officer, for the reasons set out in the Notice of Proposal.
