AND IN THE MATTER OF 2551662 Ontario Inc., operating as Hi Tech Towing and Hi Tech Auto;

AND IN THE MATTER OF Altaf Hussain.


ORDER TO IMPOSE COMPLIANCE ORDERS AND TO IMPOSE ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTIES

Altaf Hussain (“Hussain”) is the owner of 24/7 Auto Collision Inc. and 2551662 Ontario Inc.

24/7 Auto Collision Inc. and 2551662 Ontario Inc. provide vehicle repair and vehicle towing services.

24/7 Auto Collision Inc., 2551662 Ontario Inc., and Hussain are not licenced under the Act.

On April 13, 2026, the Director, Litigation & Enforcement (the “Director”), by delegated authority from the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (“FSRA”), issued a Notice of Proposal to impose compliance orders and impose administrative penalties against 24/7 Auto Collision Inc., 2551662 Ontario Inc., and Hussain.

The Notice of Proposal was delivered to 24/7 Auto Collision Inc. and 2551662 Ontario Inc. on April 20, 2026. The Notice of Proposal was delivered to Hussain on April 23, 2026. Section 441(3) of the Act provides that any person on whom a Notice of Proposal is delivered has fifteen (15) days after the Notice of Proposal is received to request a hearing by the Financial Services Tribunal (the “Tribunal”).

On May 20, 2026, The Registrar of the Tribunal confirmed that 24/7 Auto Collision Inc., 2551662 Ontario Inc., and Hussain did not request a hearing by the Tribunal in accordance with section 441(3) and 441.3(5) of the Act respecting the Notice of Proposal. Therefore, pursuant to section 441(7) and 441.3(7) of the Act, the Director makes the following orders.

ORDER

It is hereby ordered that 24/7 Auto Collision Inc. immediately cease the following activities for a period of one year for the reasons set out in the Notice of Proposal:

  1. charging for any work performed if it is reasonable to expect that all or a portion of such charges will be directly or indirectly paid for by an insurer;
  2. accepting any fees, funds, or anything of value for any work performed if it is reasonable to expect that all or a portion of such fees, funds, or thing of value will be directly or indirectly paid for by an insurer;
  3. holding themselves out to consumers as being authorized to perform any work that will be directly or indirectly paid for by an insurer; and
  4. advertising, soliciting, or offering any services related to any work that will be directly or indirectly paid for by an insurer.

ORDER

Two administrative penalties in the amount of $15,000 are hereby imposed on 24/7 Auto Collision Inc., for the reasons set out in the Notice of Proposal.

TAKE NOTICE THAT Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario will deliver an invoice to 24/7 Auto Collision Inc. with information as to where and how to pay the administrative penalties. 24/7 Auto Collision Inc. must pay the administrative penalties no later than thirty (30) days after the date of this Order or as otherwise agreed on.

If 24/7 Auto Collision Inc. fails to pay the administrative penalties in accordance with the terms of this Order, the Chief Executive Officer may file the Order with the Superior Court of Justice and the Order may be enforced as if it were an order of the court. An administrative penalty that is not paid in accordance with the terms of an order imposing the penalty is a debt due to the Crown and is enforceable as such.
